I most recently worked on a statup and am now (as of 2020) transitioning into AI research again. Before that, I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science at TU Darmstadt under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Roth (Visual Inference Group), with a focus on computer vision and deep learning.
I am broadly interested in making deep networks learn as effectively as animal brains. This includes resolving catastrophic interference to enable lifelong learning as well as mechanisms that allow higher-level cognition to emerge naturally. I am also highly interested in cognitive science and neuroscience as inspiration for deep learning algorithms and cognitive architectures.
